A wine based on carefully selected grapes of Ruen and Cabernet Sauvignon in a typical ratio of 65/35. Full-bodied wine, very rich in extract with high acidity and tannin content. Excellent aging potential, at least 8–10 years.Deep garnet red color. Lovely aroma of cassis and slightly nutty tone from the French oak. The taste is “chewy”, i.e. the combination of fruit, freshness and tannic structure give appetizing resistance that has become the signum for First Selection. Ruen’s deeper spiciness and herbiness in combination with tart black currant elegance of cabernet sauvignon form a unique flavor both in the young and the aged wine. Long lasting finish.
